The project

An automated store that runs itself.

DailyDrop is an Ikonik-owned product — a daily-deals platform in the OneDayOnly mould, but with the operating team replaced by an automation engine. Every day a new deal goes live, priced, positioned and marketed without a human clicking a button.

The Phase-1 static storefront is live. The Phase-2 engine wires sourcing, pricing rules, fulfilment routing and marketing campaigns into one pipeline so the store keeps trading on its own.

The challenge

Daily-deals sites are manual factories.

The classic model — OneDayOnly and its imitators — needs a room full of buyers, merchandisers, copywriters and marketers to keep it fed. A team meets, picks the deal, writes the copy, briefs the creative, schedules the send, watches the numbers. Every day. Forever.

The brief was to prove that stack could be flipped. That the same one-deal-a-day rhythm could run on rules, feeds and models — with humans only stepping in for the calls the software can't make.

The approach

Static storefront, engine behind it.

Phase-1 as a static store to prove the rhythm and the look. Phase-2 as a Next.js engine that fills the pipeline behind the scenes.

  1. 01 · Sourcing pipelineProduct-feed ingestion, ranking against margin and stock rules, one deal a day selected without a human touching a spreadsheet.
  2. 02 · Pricing & positioningRules-driven pricing that references category floors, competitor benchmarks and stock urgency — then auto-generates the deal page copy.
  3. 03 · Fulfilment & marketingOrder routing to the right supplier warehouse plus auto-scheduled email, WhatsApp and paid-social pushes for that day's drop.
The outcome

An operating model with almost no operators.

The Phase-1 storefront is live and the automation engine is in build. The point of the project isn't just the store — it's proving how much of a typical ecommerce operation can be handed to software.

1 Deal per day

One curated drop a day, selected by the engine against margin, stock and demand rules.

End-to-end Autopilot

Sourcing to fulfilment to marketing — one pipeline, no manual handoffs between teams.
