Is your website quietly losing enquiries?

Most business websites in South Africa are not broken. They load, they look fine, and they still bring in far fewer enquiries than they should.

When we look under the hood, it is almost always the same handful of leaks. A contact form that nobody tested on a phone. A homepage that talks about the company instead of the customer. A page that takes six seconds to load on mobile data. None of them are dramatic, but together they quietly send people back to Google.

The good news is that most of these are cheap to fix, and you can check for them in a morning.

Three quick wins this week

  1. Test your form on your own phone. Fill it in on mobile data, not Wi-Fi. If it is fiddly for you, it is losing you leads.
  2. Say what you do and where in one line. Your homepage heading should answer "what is this and is it for me" in five seconds.
  3. Put your number where thumbs can reach it. A tap-to-call button near the top of mobile pages is one of the cheapest wins there is.
